We count on your donations to continue our life-saving work. As a non-profit organization with no paid staff members, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly on behalf of local animals. And our efforts are paying off. Our innovative programs have been credited with reducing the number of animals who are euthanized at our local animal control facility. Our dream is that one day, no adoptable animals will be killed in area shelters. We thank you for helping us realize this dream.Visit the donation page to see where your money goes.
Cooper is NOT in the Shelter. Please use the contact info below.
No one who meets Cooper can believe he is homeless. He is just the sweetest boy. He is a young (1 to 2 year old) Lab mix, mostly all Lab, but with a little Pointer or Beagle maybe? We’re just guessing here, as he has a few small brown spots.
He loves almost all other dogs, wags his tail when he meets the resident cats, and loves to romp with older kids. He seems to like younger ones, too, but has a hard time controlling his body when he gets excited, and so may knock the tiny ones over.
He was rescued from a high-kill shelter; we don’t even allow ourselves to think what a waste of a great dog it could have been. His ideal home would be one with a fenced yard, and maybe another young dog (or one who is young at heart!) who would play with him.
