Jolene is a strikingly gorgeous 1 year old female calico cat. Her markings are absolutely breath taking in person. Jolene’s personality is very unique and an adult home is best for this interesting girl.If you have a string toy that you are bouncing around, she is your best friend. Jolene rubs on your ankles to say hi. Jolene is full of life and entertainment and would do well matched up with another cat or dog that will play similar to her. She loves to rub against you and seems very friendly, but she is just not trusting of hands. When you reach for her, she bats at your hand with her paw to get you to back away. She will jump up in your lap sometimes, but she prefers to have her freedom on the floor chasing toys. She would much rather show you affection on her own terms. Jolene is available for adoption through the Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center. If you are an adult only household, come on by to meet Jolene, during the shelter animal viewing hours. Her beauty will dazzle your home and her silly playful antics will truly make you smile. Just remember to keep your hands to yourself until she learns to trust you. :0)
