Sampson is a 2yr old, male, Shih Tzu mix who is sweet and friendly with people who are calm and talk to him. Sampson has early cataracts that limit his sight and he needs you to introduce him to new things slowly. He still likes to go for walks outside because he likes to use his nose to explore new smells. Sampson is afraid of other dogs with energy. If you have another dog at home that is calm and gentle, you can bring them by to meet Sampson. Sampson is a snuggler and likes to be affectionate with his owner. He is calm and quiet too. Sampson likes to play with squeaky toys and does well going potty if you take him outside often enough. Since he is unsure with fast movements and loud sounds, Sampson would do best in an adult home or a home with older children who understand to be gentle and calm around him.
