Sweet Esmerelda (44164) looks like a different dog between when she first came in the shelter to now after her grooming. Esmerelda is a 10 month old female Shih Tzu that came to the shelter as a stray. Since she came in as a stray, we do not know of her past. While being at the shelter, Esmerelda loves to jump up for attention and run around in the yard with her doggie friends. She was initially pretty head shy, especially during her grooming. Potential adopters will be required to keep up monthly with her grooming needs. That way she can continue to gain confidence with being groomed and brushed.
