Xena (46313) is a year old female German shepherd that is looking for her forever home. Xena has met other dogs here at the shelter and has gotten along with them well. We do recommend bringing in your dog(s) to meet Xena to make sure everyone gets along. Xena needs to go to a home that understands the mental and physical stimulation that her breed needs to do well in her forever home. She would do best in a home that has previous German Shepherd experience. Xena came to the shelter with some barrier reactivity (which means she can be unsettled and upset when there is a barrier between her and others like a kennel) She has been working with staff and with willingness to learn/ want to please is excelling in overcoming this issue.
