We count on your donations to continue our life-saving work. As a non-profit organization with no paid staff members, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly on behalf of local animals. And our efforts are paying off. Our innovative programs have been credited with reducing the number of animals who are euthanized at our local animal control facility. Our dream is that one day, no adoptable animals will be killed in area shelters. We thank you for helping us realize this dream.Visit the donation page to see where your money goes.

Do NOT call the Shelter--he's not there! Big Boy has some interested adopters, but nothing firm--MEET Big Boy this Sunday, May 21, from approx 12-3 at the Pet Expo on Schooley Mill Park (12975 Hall Shop Road, Highland MD, 21777).. At only 16 weeks, Big Boy isn't all that big yet, but he might be! He's been named this because he has a big heart, big spirit, and big personality! This dog has kissed his way directly into the soul of his foster family--we think the world of him, he is totally people-oriented and shows a big ability to bond. We feel he might someday pass the test to make the rounds visiting nursing homes.
He has been socialized with adult dogs, cats, kids, and many different situations. He looks like a cross between an Amercian Bulldog and a Pit Bull Terrier. His appearance and personality are those of the quintessential bully breeds. Did you know that pitbulls rate higher on the Amercian Temperement Test than Golden Retreivers? We aren't surprised. Big Boy has the sweetest temperment to make it in most homes, if they can separate out the truth from fiction surrounding the bully breeds.
Big Boy's foster Dad says potential adopters need to walk on water. His foster Mom is a bit more realistic. She wants someone with the stability of owning their home, who can make accomodations during the work day for potty breaks and continued socialization, and who will commit to a course of positive obedience training so Big Boy can reach his full potential. And he has a BIG potential! He is just the best. Contact always4tucker@yahoo.com or 410.880.2488 ext #3.
