Please don't call the shelter about Murphy--he is in our foster program--use the contact info above or below. Murph is not only stunningly handsome, he is a sweet and laid back boy who likes to lay in your lap. He is only about 8 weeks old, and has been well-socialized in his foster home. We prefer to place our kittens with one of their litter mates (see the other "M" kittens on our site) or in a home with another kitten-friendly cat or dog.

Murphy was one of many kittens taken from a home of a caring person who took in a few abandoned cats, but couldn't afford to get them fixed. For years, this person had litter after litter. The baby kittens were taken by "rescue groups" who were irresponsible, and never offered help to the adult cats who bred to exhaustion. This is NOT the way we operate. Murphy's mom and dad have now been spayed and neutered, and will no longer be used as a breeding mill for unscrupulous people calling themselves rescue groups.

We offer free spay/neuter for any individual who can't afford to get their cats sterilized. This is the ONLY way we will ever reduce the number of homeless cats and kittens.

The adoption fee for the "M" kittens includes vaccination(s), flea treatment, deworming, testing for feline leukemia and FIV, spay/neuter, and microchip.
