We count on your donations to continue our life-saving work. As a non-profit organization with no paid staff members, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly on behalf of local animals. And our efforts are paying off. Our innovative programs have been credited with reducing the number of animals who are euthanized at our local animal control facility. Our dream is that one day, no adoptable animals will be killed in area shelters. We thank you for helping us realize this dream.Visit the donation page to see where your money goes.
Meet the adorable "B" puppies!!!! Please do NOT call the shelter--these puppies are in our rescue program in a foster home.Call 410.880.2488 ext #3 or always4tucker@yahoo.com.
Bridgette and her littermates are 12 weeks old and as lab mixes, will be medium to large sized as adults. They are full of puppy energy and love to play. They are very treat motivated, so should be a breeze to train. They are just now beginning to go out and experience the world now that they have gotten their first puppy vaccine. A puppy class would be ideal to help them along with their learning.
Here's how the B puppies came to us: One of our community outreach volunteers was in Baltimore City assisting people with getting their cats fixed through our free spay and neuter program. A young man from a house down the street came running out and asked if we could help with dogs too. His grandfather had 2 labs and a lab/shepherd mix who kept having unwanted puppies. We had room in our foster program for the puppies. Now their mom and dad, as well as the 3rd dog in the home have all been altered.
The pups have been vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas, and will be microchipped prior to adoption.
