Mercury is an adorable 6 month old pup who has already stolen the hearts of all our volunteers. We are between a rock and a hard place as to what breed he is. He looks mostly Lab, but won't be Labby enough for the Lab people--he's got shorter legs. He looks like he has a little pitbull in his mix, but not nearly enough to please the afficionados of that breed either.
We hope we can find someone who will just love Mercury for himself. He was brought into a shelter at only 2 weeks old, and was lovingly raised by the staff, but this shelter was in a rural area of Maryland, with few visitors. We knew we had to get Mercury out, to give him a chance. If you are looking for an all-around nice dog whose GREAT, laid back temperment allowed him to make it this far, please give Mercury a visit.
