We count on your donations to continue our life-saving work. As a non-profit organization with no paid staff members, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly on behalf of local animals. And our efforts are paying off. Our innovative programs have been credited with reducing the number of animals who are euthanized at our local animal control facility. Our dream is that one day, no adoptable animals will be killed in area shelters. We thank you for helping us realize this dream.Visit the donation page to see where your money goes.
Charcoal, a 20 pound Lap Dog's Web Page
Terrier / Corgi / Mixed : : Male : : Adult : : Small
You can MEET CHARCOAL this Saturday from 11:00 to 2:00 at Bark Natural Food Store, 5805 Clarksville Square Drive 21029. Charcoal is in a foster home in our rescue program--please use the
contact info below. Charcoal is an adorable little mixed breed dog.
He looks like he could have some terrier, but his coat is smooth and
several people have said he reminds them of a corgi. Charcoal only
weighs about 20 pounds, and loves to sit in your lap or roll over for
tummy rubs. Any attention is fine with him. He appears to be about
five years old, listens very well and can be laid back, but is always
more than ready for a walk or a play session. He loves playing with
his toys and acting silly. Mostly, he just wants to be with you, and
is happy to snuggle up in a soft bed at your feet after he has been
exercised.
Charcoal was at the shelter for a while, and was not getting adopted
because it was not clear whether he was housetrained. We are happy to
tell you that, with the exception of a few accidents the first day, he
has wonderful house manners if given appropriate outings.
He is neutered, current on vaccines, been dewormed, is free of fleas,
negative for heartworm and on preventive, and is microchipped.
Charcoal's foster family has been calling him "Buddy" because that
describes him perfectly. He will make some lucky person a great
companion. Please call 410.880.2488 ext 3 or always4tucker@yahoo.com
