Hi everyone. People call me Draco but sometimes they call me Leave It too. I like to use my brain and it is fun smelling and chewing on things. Whatever you are doing, I will be right there to help. I especially love being outside running with you or another dog. I'm 3yrs old, already neutered and the people here say I remind them of a German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois.  I would have so much fun being your running partner.  Zoomies in the yard are also a highlight of my day. When you need me to sit or lay down, I need some motivation like a tasty treat. Then you have my attention.  I know how to sit, wait and give you my paw. I have lots of fun running in the yard with other dogs. Sometimes the other dog has to correct me and remind me to be gentle in my playstyle. I met a small dog recently and he was so much fun. We ran together and when I would put my paw on him, he would bark and I would jump back because I forgot to be gentle.  If you have a dog at home, you can bring them by to meet me during the shelter's Animal Viewing Hours.

I like to chew toys but they need to be tough like a big Kong. I prefer playing outside to toys though. I like to go up and meet new people and children. I need you to remind me to sit. Do you like to run and have fun? I have been waiting at the shelter and I see the other dogs get adopted. I wish someone will come for me soon. Once you tire me out, I will lay at your feet and keep them warm.

Mon, Wed, Fri 10:00-4:30 (Closed at 2:30 the last Friday of each month)

Tues & Thurs 1:30-6:45

Sat 10:00-2:00 (Closed on county observed holidays and holiday weekends.)
