We count on your donations to continue our life-saving work. As a non-profit organization with no paid staff members, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly on behalf of local animals. And our efforts are paying off. Our innovative programs have been credited with reducing the number of animals who are euthanized at our local animal control facility. Our dream is that one day, no adoptable animals will be killed in area shelters. We thank you for helping us realize this dream.Visit the donation page to see where your money goes.

American Staffordshire Terrier / Labrador Retriever / Mixed : : Male : : Baby
Do NOT call the shelter about him--he isn't there! Big Head has been adopted, but you can meet his brother who looks a lot like him (but with a smaller head!) this Saturday June 3 from 1-3 at Clarks Elioak Farm, 10500 Route 108, Ellicott City, 21042. He is in a foster home with a rescue group—use the contact info above/below. We’re sorry Big Head, to have named you this, but, well, you do have a big head. Your Mom was Lab mix (and many Labs have big heads), and your Dad might have been an AmStaff/PitBullTerrier or even Mastiff, and they have big heads too. So you were doubly blessed. Great big-headed breeds who are known to be extraordinary with people. No wonder then that you are too.
Your foster parents want everyone to know that, at only 16 weeks old, you are already an incredible boy. We think you have that big head to hold all of your smarts, and sometimes this slows you down, makes you think, and makes you different from other puppies your age. No puppy ever rolled over better for a tummy rub, or crawled up on our laps to take a better nap than you. You are an easygoing, laid back pup, after you have your bursts of energy. We love you Big Head, and we are looking for a home that can appreciate you. You have been socialized with adult dogs, cats, and kids. We need a home for you, one that will think “outside of the box”--we will help them separate fact from fiction about your pitbull part. We will tell them that the pitbull part generally tests above even Golden Retrievers on the American Temperment Test for dogs! We’re looking for someone who owns their home, can provide stability, and will commit to obedience training. We know Big Head, that you’ll excel at that! Please contact always4tucker@yahoo.com or 410.880.2488 ext #3.
