Your Donation Saves Lives!
We count on your donations to continue our life-saving work. As a non-profit organization with no paid staff members, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly on behalf of local animals. And our efforts are paying off. Our innovative programs have been credited with reducing the number of animals who are euthanized at our local animal control facility. Our dream is that one day, no adoptable animals will be killed in area shelters. We thank you for helping us realize this dream.Visit the donation page to see where your money goes.

About Benny

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • General Color: Gray and White
  • Color: Grey Tuxedo / Tuxedo

Benny is in a foster home in our Rescue Program; please use the contact info below.  Benny and his sister Shally (also shown on our web site) are 12 week old siblings.  Benny has grey tuxedo markings and an adorable grey goatee.  He likes to talk, and Shally is slightly more cautious but overall very outgoing. They are incredibly well-adusted and sweet, and have no problems with people.  Both have fabulous markings.  Like normal kittens, they love to play.  It would be great if they could be adopted together, but the next best thing would be a home with another friendly cat or dog.  Kittens are more likely to become well-adjusted adults if they have four-legged playmates as well as two-legged ones.

Here is a summary of their recent vet check-up: "Both were incredibly well-behaved. They didn't make a sound in the car on the way there or back, and I let them both run on the vet table while the other was being examined because they were so calm. They saw Benny first, and while they were examining Shally's ears, Benny curled up in the vet tech's arm while she was holding his sister still.  Both the vet and the tech were in love with them.  The only problem was that it was hard to listen to their lungs because they were both purring so loudly!"

Both Benny and Shally have received their vaccines, tested negative for both feline leukemia and FIV, have been dewormed, are free of fleas and will be microchipped and neutered prior to adoption.
