We count on your donations to continue our life-saving work. As a non-profit organization with no paid staff members, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly on behalf of local animals. And our efforts are paying off. Our innovative programs have been credited with reducing the number of animals who are euthanized at our local animal control facility. Our dream is that one day, no adoptable animals will be killed in area shelters. We thank you for helping us realize this dream.Visit the donation page to see where your money goes.
Please do not contact the shelter--Winifred is in a foster home--use the contact info above or below. Look at tiny Winifred! She is about 9 weeks old, and is just 8 pounds or so. When Winifred was found she was just hours away from death.
She was only 2 weeks old, and her eyes were barely open. She was left outside in a dirt pen where she had become stuck in the chain link fence. She was weak, and thin. When she was rushed to the shelter, her luck took a dramatic turn for the better.
Not only did Winifred survive, but she is thriving now! She may remain small...and we could call her a "pocket pittie". She is SOOO incredibly loving and sweet. She loves to be held, loves snuggles and loves to give kisses. Winifred brings a smile to everyone's face. She is like a little wind up toy! Winifred is living in a foster home where she gets a LOT of attention, and lots of socialization. She has other dogs, cats and children to play with. She follows the big dogs around, and tries to keep up. Not easy with such tiny legs!
Winifred is healthy and old enough now to go to a permanent home. Please contact 410.880.2488 ext #3 or always4tucker@yahoo.com
