We count on your donations to continue our life-saving work. As a non-profit organization with no paid staff members, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly on behalf of local animals. And our efforts are paying off. Our innovative programs have been credited with reducing the number of animals who are euthanized at our local animal control facility. Our dream is that one day, no adoptable animals will be killed in area shelters. We thank you for helping us realize this dream.Visit the donation page to see where your money goes.

Domestic Short Hair / Turkish Van / Mixed : : Male
Orion is not at the shelter--he is in a foster home--please use the contact info above or below. This sweet and very affectionate 1 1/2 year old boy was found and was skin and bones. He was starving, and near death. Sadly, he wasn't sure whether he was hungrier for food, or for attention.
But that's just like Orion. He is extremely affectionate. When he isn't playing with his toys he loves to be held or just curl up on a warm lap for a nap. He would be fine being an only cat, as he really is a people guy anyway.
After a couple of months of care and vet visits he is healthy and looking for a home he can call his own. He has had vaccines, has tested negative for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus, and has been neutered.
Here he is showing off his "Turkish Van" markings. The Turkish Van is a breed of cat that is white with colored patches on primarily the head and tail. If you'd like to meet this handsome boy, please call 410.880.2488 ext #3 or always4tucker@yahoo.com
