Merry is not in the shelter; please use the contact info below. Okay, so Merry may not be either a Boxer nor a Hound, but we have to pick two breeds and those seemed like a good guess. She's the Best of all breeds, what we like to call an All-American Mixed Breed Dog. Not only is she gorgeous, she is happy, even-tempered, affectionate, and is good with children. Merry loves being with people and would be a good family dog. She has a strong desire to please, is agile, energetic, loves her toys, and is a quick learner. She is just over a year old and is spayed.
Merry is in the care of our colleagues at Mid-Atlantic Shar Pei Rescue. (Hey, she does have a bit of a wrinkled forehead and an almost-curly tail:) She was on death row in a southern shelter and was the Shelter Favorite due to her temperament. The nice folks at Shar Pei Rescue couldn't resist her charming personality, and so Merry got the gift of coming up north for a second chance. Now she needs you to offer her a permanent home.
