Jinxy is not in the shelter, but in a Foster Home in our Rescue Program.  Please use the contact info below.  Jinxy is a big beautiful girl, and we do mean big, like almost 18 pounds.  Think short-haired Maine Coon.  This stunning cat has been through quite a bit already and she is only about 5 years old.  She was found on the streets of Baltimore and really wanted to live inside.  She was taken in by people who then moved, and left her behind.  We took her into our Rescue Program, and although she is gorgeous, brown tabbies are almost as sought after as black cats.  Which is to say, not very sought after at all.  But finally her luck and life changed when she was adopted by an older woman who adored her.  Unfortunately, her adopter passed away unexpectedly after having her only about a month.  In this short time, they made each other very happy. Her friends reported all she could talk about was Jinxy, the cute things Jinx did, and how much she loved Jinx.  It seems so unfair that these two who needed each other had such a short time together.  We can only hope this was some part of a grand plan and that fate has something wonderful lined up for Jinxy.  She loves people and has been good with children who know how to behave with pets.  She has gotten along okay with some other cats but would prefer to be an only cat.  We really wish people who only want one cat would consider an adult like Jinxy who prefers living singly, rather than adopting a small kitten who wants and needs the companionship of other felines.  Please call 410 880 2488 ext #3 or always4tucker@yahoo.com for more information.
